Ephemera Sale: April 16-17, 2021

Our annual ephemera sale includes local history books, photos, memorabilia and artifacts, greeting cards, posters, pamphlets, maps, charts, etc. PAC*SJ's collection of items commemorating San Jose's notable landmarks will also be for sale: t-shirts, neon sign pins and guide books. Local historian and mid-century consultant Heather David will be signing her San Jose Signs Guide on Friday and Saturday. Gary Singh, columnist for Metro Silicon Valley, will be signing his latest book, Silicon Alleys, on Saturday.

Spring Garage Sale: March 19-20, 2021

This sale features art, coins, 40 boxes of massage/new age and fiction books, cameras, rugs, mid-century housewares, 100s of Burger King premium toys, furniture including a complete twin bedroom suite era 1930s, clothing, china and silverware and our usual assortment of the unusual including a large plastic painting of General Patton once displayed on the marque of San Jose's Century theatres announcing the 1970 movie, PATTON.

Music Sale: July 17-18, 2020
PAC*SJ received a donation from the estate of Dr. Leroy Brant, well known professor of music and founder of San Jose’s Institute of Music where he taught voice and piano. We sell his collection of music-related books and sheet music Friday July 17 from 9am-3pm and Saturday July 18 from 9am-noon at 260 South 13th St., San Jose.
These 20 boxes focus on classical music, famous musicians, technique, history of various musical forms, encyclopedias of music, biographies, opera history for the serious musician and amateur alike. Sheet music includes popular tunes but concentrates on organ and piano music. In addition, we received six large bins of 78 rpm records including 1920's jazz, albums by Gershwin, Berlin, Ink Spots, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman , etc. There are LOTS of ballroom dance records: rhumba, swing, fox trot, and waltz.
Professor Brant's collection also includes 100s of books of 19th century European literature. All books are in excellent condition. Items are priced to sell quickly. Social Distancing Protocols for gatherings will be in effect. Wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart, attendance is limited to 60 people, no bathrooms available.
Ephemera Sale: July 24-25, 2020
PAC*SJ’s July 24th and 25th ephemera sale features local history books, collectibles and oddities often found at our garage sales. This special sale features 100s of movie posters, boxes of greeting cards from the 1930s-50's, newspapers, postcards, cards from SJ businesses, wooden signs, two bound volumes of the Mercury News, PAC*SJ t shirts, etc. This sale will take place at 594 South 15th St., San Jose. Hours are 9am till 3pm Friday and 9am till noon Saturday.
Members-only Preview and Joan Bohnett Memorial: July 23, 2020
A special Members Only Preview of the Ephemera Sale will occur Thursday July 23rd from 4pm till 7pm. Please join us for light refreshments and a chance to reminisce about our dear friend Joan Bohnett who passed away in February. On display will be several items about her life including photos and report cards! Please join or renew your membership to attend this private event and RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
