About The Event
Join PAC*SJ and tour guide Krista Van Laan on this special tour of the Lakehouse Historic District in Central San Jose. This gem of a neighborhood features an outstanding collection of Queen Anne and Craftsman residences built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by architects and builders including Theodore Lenzen, Wolfe & McKenzie, J.O. McKee, and Charles Carto. The tour will feature special interior access to the Owen House, one of the neighborhood's most distinctive homes, which is currently listed for sale and seeking a new preservation-minded buyer. We will also visit nearby Diridon Station and learn the latest plans for its preservation and future expansion.
PAC*SJ member tickets ($15) on sale now, non-member ($20) available beginning Monday, May 19th. Space is limited and advanced reservations required. Free parking will be available at the nearby 91 S. Montgomery St. parking lot (the southwest corner of Montgomery and San Fernando Streets), where the tour will meet beginning at 9:45am.
