The First Unitarian Church of San José was designed by George Page and completed in 1892. This building is one of very few American churches that emulate traditional Unitarian churches of Transylvania. Unfortunately in 1995, the interior of the church was gutted from a devastating fire. After several years, the church was thankfully restored and the basement, after renovations, is now home to the Third Street Community Center.
