Downtown Sketchwalk with Suhita Shirodkar and Ben Leech

Space is extremely limited for this free, PAC*SJ member’s-only opportunity to join artist Suhita Shirodkar and PAC*SJ’s Ben Leech for an introduction to the art of urban sketching.  Shirodkar is a San Jose-based reportage artist/educator and an official 2023 San Jose Creative Ambassador whose popular sketchwalks combine exploration and artistic documentation for an unforgettable new perspective on architecture and historic preservation in San Jose. A limited number of free tickets are available for PAC*SJ members to attend this otherwise sold-out event.

All levels of drawing experience are welcome, and beginners are especially encouraged to participate! Attendees will receive sketching instructions, basic drawing materials and a special accordion-fold sketchbook for capturing the sights and stories behind some of downtown’s best hiding-in-plain-sight architectural gems. Exact meeting location and parking suggestions to be provided in advance of the event date; the tour involves some walking (less than one mile).
