Join the Preservation Action Council of San José (PAC*SJ) on Thursday, March 19 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm for our next Legacy Business Happy Hour at Palermo Italian Restaurant. Located at 791 Auzerais Avenue along Los Gatos Creek, Palermo has been a longtime neighborhood gathering place in San José, known for its classic Italian fare and family-run atmosphere.
The evening will take place in the back room overlooking the creek. Light appetizers will be provided and beverages will be available for purchase at a cash bar.
Owner Diane Cusimano will share the story of Palermo Italian Restaurant and the fascinating history of her family’s relationship with the Paradiso family and their original Italian deli. Together, these intertwined family stories highlight the deep roots of Italian American businesses in San José and make for a truly memorable Legacy Business Happy Hour.
Legacy Business Happy Hours are a chance for PAC*SJ members and prospective members to connect with fellow preservationists, history enthusiasts, and community members in unique, historic settings, all while supporting a legacy business. Share ideas, build new relationships, and learn how PAC*SJ is working to protect the places that matter most. Palermo Italian Restaurant has free parking in their parking lot and there is also free street parking nearby.
