About The Event
Join PAC*SJ on Thursday, May 1, for the kickoff of National Preservation Month and our Legacy Business Happy Hour Series, at Teske’s Germania, a beloved San José restaurant and beer garden founded in 1980. Known for its traditional German fare and warm hospitality, Teske’s has been a community staple for decades. Enjoy various German delicacies from their menu, such as Schweinshaxe - a tender, roasted pork knuckle served with crispy skin and hearty sides, a glass of Riesling, or a slice of their decadent Black Forest cake while taking in the unique character of this family-run establishment.
This new series is designed to celebrate and support San José’s legacy businesses, places that have shaped the city’s cultural identity over time. It’s also a chance to connect with fellow preservation advocates, history buffs, and community members in a casual setting. Share ideas, build new relationships, and learn how PAC*SJ is working to protect the places that matter most.
